Indoor Air Quality Assessments in Chicagoland
Before anyone sells you an air quality product, someone should measure what's actually wrong with your air.
What IAQ assessment actually involves
An assessment looks at the whole picture: static pressure and airflow through the system, relative humidity in different parts of the house, the condition of the ductwork and coil, combustion safety, ventilation, and the specific symptoms you're describing. Sometimes the finding is that you need equipment. Often it's that a return is blocked, the filter is choking the blower, or the bath fans vent into the attic. We give you the findings either way.
Signs you need IAQ assessment
- Symptoms that improve when you leave the house
- Rooms that smell different from the rest of the home
- Uneven humidity between floors
- You've bought air quality products that didn't help

Questions
IAQ Assessment FAQs
Measurements of airflow and static pressure, humidity readings by area, visual inspection of ductwork, coil and drainage, and a written summary of findings with recommendations ranked by impact.
Sometimes the fix is a blocked return or a filter that's too restrictive, and those are the findings we report. A recommendation you don't trust isn't worth writing down.
