What furnace maintenance actually involves
A furnace tune-up is a measurement job. We check temperature rise across the heat exchanger against the manufacturer's spec, static pressure in the ducts, blower amp draw, gas pressure, and the full ignition and safety sequence. We clean the flame sensor and burners, inspect the heat exchanger, verify the condensate drain on high-efficiency units, and test the CO detector situation while we're there.
